Headed Home From The Hospital

The hospital was a horrible experience, mommy wishes she would have opted for Tarzana instead of Holy Cross.  After all the hospital tours Holy Cross sounded great, but it didn't turn out that way at all.  A big part of the problem was the staff, although they weren't the only problem.  Mommy said she didn't feel like the nurses listened to her and I ended up with me losing 10%of my body weight.  There was some doubt whether or not I was going to be alllowed to go home, luckily one nurse took the initiative and explained the situation to my pediatrician.  That was the only nurse mommy liked, she made mommy laugh by refering to the other nurses as the Lactation Nazis.  Mom wanted to nurse but after it was obvious to mom that I wasn't doing well she kept insisting she was making the decision (HER decision) to not breastfeed.  Mom was extremely angry when they ignored her repeated requests for formula.

But at long last we were going home where Daddy had everything ready.

All The VIP's Came to See ME!

We were very tired and both mommy and I slept a lot, but we had some visitors stop by to see us.  Most notably Grandpa Ripoll, he made sure he made it out after every Happy Hour. (Just a Joke)

I'M HERE!!!

I was very comfortable right where I was at so I wasn't about to let mom evict me that easily; not without a fight.  It was a scheduled C-Section so mom thought it was going to be quick and painless, it wasn't.

There were 2 doctors.  While one jumped and pushed on mommy's belly the other pulled on me...eventually, there was a vacuum involved.

Mom said she didn't bother to count my fingers and toes because to her I was already perfect regardless.  But I'm happy I have them all.

I came in at 21", 8Lbs and 13 oz and my head was 13 and 3/4".
